After several months of close collaboration with the office of NSF, this recent approval strengthens the company’s commitment to supplying cleaners that are worker friendly, high performing and safe alternatives for caustic/phenolic cleaners, acetone, MEK, & methylene chloride, NMP, BLO and many other highly hazardous and toxic chemicals.

The product has been accepted for use as:
- General cleaner (A1) in and around food processing areas
- Floor and wall cleaner (A4) where its use is not intended for direct food contact
- Metal cleaner and polisher (A7) for non-food contact
The NSF Food Compounds Registration Program is a continuation of the USDA product approval and listing program, which is based on meeting regulatory requirements including the FDA 21 CFR for appropriate use, ingredient and labeling review.
OPTIMA™ 2000FG Aqueous Cleaner (currently under patent review) is an environmentally sensible ink, adhesive, resin cleaner, metal degreaser, and general purpose cleaner (reduced VOC, non-HAPs, non-flammable, non-hazardous). Does not contain any raw materials:
- known to the State of California (Proposition 65) to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm
- listed on SECTION 112(b) OF HAZARDOUS AIR POLLUTANTS
